Doctors

I find it very sad that there are doctors out there who pressure mothers into having abortions, simply because there is something "wrong" with the baby that they can't fix. My friend Mary just had an ultrasound to see how things were going (her little girl has the same diagnosis as Faith), and her doctor told her that her baby wasn't worth keeping... how sad is that?

Sometimes you doctors really ought to shut up. There is value in every life. Faith made my life, and even if she had only lived for a few minutes or hours, she would have still made my life. Don't forget --that little baby, although unseen, is your second patient.

Mary, the next time a doctor gives you a hard time, show them a picture of Faith's smile. If that doesn't soften their hearts than nothing will.
