Natical Summer

The thing I love about the-fashion-blogger-favourite Asos.com is their selection of garments from British independent designers.

Lately I've been browsing the store for Dahlia pieces, probably because I've been brainwashed by the shots of Carrie and Sandra rocking this little nautical inspired jumpsuit.

As much as I love the jumpsuit I could never see myself in it because of my total inability to wear pieces of clothing with, well, crotch seams.
So, I've stated fantasizing about this little dress instead.
..Now all I need is a fast and non-creepy way to earn me some extra quids!

Asiaa muotiblogeista

Olen tällä hetkellä aika pitkälti lehti-, ja radiotyökurssien orjuuttama ihmisraunio, joten verkkainen bloggaustahti jatkunee vielä jonkin aikaa.

Tsekatkaa toki sillä välin uusimmassa Utaimessa ilmestynyt Anni Nissin kolumni muotiblogeista.
Anni kirjoittaa asiaa, vaikka tyyli paikoitellen tyypillisen journalistisen alentuva. Mutta ehkä se on ihan tervettä näennäisen vakavassa mediajulkaisussa.

(Just a link to the magazine we've been working on at school.
I'm trying my best to find time for blogging, but I guess I'll be busy until the beginning of may.)

Still (barely) Alive

Geez, I've had the worst couple of weeks ever.
First of all, I've been ill, ill, ill to the point that it's not even ironic anymore (I'm still having a slight fever. If there is some kind of higher force, it has the crappiest sense of humour ever.) and our internet connection was off a while time because of some renewing work.

But on the positive sidenote, I do have a new baby:

I've never been that much into bags, but I think this is the last one I'll ever need.
It's by the amazing Finnish designer Minna Parikka (who, by the way, opened a web boutique some time ago) and well worth the long hours I busted my ass at work after school.

Sometimes Bad Luck Is Good Luck

Today my beloved patent brogues (the ones I wear all the time) basically fall into pieces when I ran frantically to the bus I was about to miss.
When I got home I browsed lazily through a couple of web boutiqes to see if I could find something remotely similar.

As I did, I stumbled accross these:

They're by Opening Ceremony and reduced from €264.88 to €78.85.
I really didn't have to think twice!
And the best part is that those seriously good quality shoes are bound to last longer than the cheap Topshop ones I broke.
