In these final days of 2008, traditionally we reflect on what has happened in the past year and what we have achieved. Most of the time I prefer to let my music do the talking, but it really has been an incredibly turbulent twelve months, so here's a few words. With a few ups and downs on a personal level and my first year as an expat in the USA (after a few trials and tribulations), I have been really motivated to work hard on my music and develop the sound. The position that I find myself in, both literally and mentally on the outskirts of the "scenes", has done me good. The last few months have been solely dedicated to writing my first album which is going to be called "Great Lengths". It's been a long process but I learned many things and it has been a real challenge to make it - you will hear some of the tracks surfacing quite soon! Maybe even at one of the gigs i'm playing in Europe and the US, there are quite a few lined up, including two 3024 album launch parties (details and line-ups will follow for those), but this is the schedule for now:
